You’d be surprised to know, the spicy Korean condiment Gochujang, in its most rustic form, was first found in a book written in 1433 called ‘Collected Prescriptions of Native Korean Medicines’. Red-wine vinegar, lemon and sesame-seed oil marinated tenders are breaded, fried and glazed with a luscious, spicy coat of Gochujang. A saucy dip infused with Gochujang accompanies your crispy Korean-style chicken tenders. 



For crunchy chicken tenders   

Chicken (cut in to) - 200gms

Cajun breading mix - 30gms

Lemon - 5ml

Sesame oil - 2ml

Red wine vinegar - 4ml

Gochujang glaze - 2gms

Refined oil

Dipping sauce

Refined oil - 5ml

Chopped onions - 10gms

Chopped garlic - 2gms

Chili paste - 5gms

Tomato ketchup - 10gms

White vinegar - 2ml

Gochujang glaze -  1gm



Corn Flour - 2gms

White Sesame seeds - 2gms

Spring-onions - 2gms



For crunchy chicken tenders.

Take the chicken, marinate it with vinegar and sesame oil keep it aside.

Take a bowl, add the cajun breading mix, add the chicken and coat them well.

Deep fry the chicken till its crisp and golden, and glaze it with gochujang glaze.

For dipping sauce.

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, chopped onion and stir-fry the mix for a while. Add in chilli paste and water and let it simmer for a while. Add the gochujang glaze, adjust seasoning and stir well. Finish it with diluted corn flour. 

Add chopped spring onion and sesame seed toward the end and serve.
