Cheesy Eggs

We love eggs,  simply for their versatility! Be it scrambled, sunny-side up or poached, they taste delicious. Take these hard-boiled versions, for example, they come topped with cheddar cheese and crunchy, sauteed bell peppers making sure that every bite is an 'eggs-traordinary' one!

 

Ingredients

Oil - 5ml

Butter - 3gms

Chopped onion - 8gms

Bechamel sauce - 70gms

Cheese sauce - 20gms

Salt

Pepper

Nutmeg powder - 0.2gms

Hard-boiled eggs (3 eggs, halved) - 180gms (approx)

Sauteed chopped peppers - 15gms

Grated cheese - 5gms

 

Method

1.Heat oil and butter in a pan, add onions and saute till they are slightly translucent, then add the bechamel sauce, water, and cheese sauce.

2.Adjust seasoning, add nutmeg powder and set aside. Saute chopped peppers.

3. While serving, add cheese sauce to a  bowl, then add the halved eggs. Add some more cheese sauce on top of the eggs finish it with sauteed chopped peppers and more grated cheese.
