Still wondering what to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Let us sort out your menu for the day while you concentrate on dominating the world!
9am – Breakfast:
Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Fresh Seasonal Fruits
Traditionally pancakes were eaten in large quantities on Shrove Day – a day of guilt-free feasting and partying before Lent began. The Elizabethans liked their pancakes spiced, flavoured with rose water, sherry and apples. The Greco-Romans liked their pancakes sweetened with honey. We fluff up these discs of sheer bliss and serve them doused with oodles of maple syrup and fresh, seasonal fruits. Now, that’s a great start to your day! Serves 1.
11am – Morning Snack:
Mulberry Trail mix: Power-packed with a combination of crunchy mulberry, cashews, peanuts, cranberries, roasted sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sultana raisins – go nuts on our nutty trail mix, the healthiest snack you could ask for!
1pm – Lunch:
Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani
The Nizams of Hyderabad took the best of both the Mughalai cuisine and Andhra cuisine to serve us somewhat of a legacy – Hyderabadi Biriyani. Out of the two variants of Hyderabadi Biriyani – kacchi and pakki – the former might just seem easy to cook as it involves layering uncooked meat with rice and steaming the whole darn thing. But making sure that the meat is done just right is a challenge any chef would savour. Trust us to serve you one of the better pakki biriyanis you’ll ever eat! Parboiled basmati rice layered with a spicy gravy of boneless chicken, yoghurt, mint leaves and browned onions in a heavy-bottomed dish and steamed on low flame till the rice is infused with the delectable flavours of the marinade. Served with raita, this dish needs no more convincing.
5pm – Tea-time:
Baked snack: Berrylicious Blueberry Muffin
While the British and Americans argue over who baked the first muffin or ‘muffe’ or ‘moufflet’, here’s a moist and delicious muffin or quick-bread to get you going through the day. Every bite of our jumbo vanilla-muffin rippled with fresh blue berries is a magical mouthful!
7pm – Supper:
Soup: Thai Pumpkin Soup
What’s yummier than a soup that’s both wholesome and light? Not much, right? Relish this Thai favorite that’s brimming with the goodness of pumpkin, diced chicken, kaffir lime and lemongrass – for that sweet and tangy explosion of flavor, we all love!
9pm – Dinner:
Mongolian Veggie Hot Pot
For centuries, Mongolian cuisine was almost entirely defined by the country’s geography and climate. Until recently, meat, flour and dairy were staple, and vegetables were seldom used. Their new-found love for vegetables spawned a whole range of vegetarian delicacies and we pay our tribute to a cuisine so unique with our Mongolian Veggie Hot Pot. A colourful assortment of peppers, zucchini, broccoli and mushroom in a toasted-peanut-riddled red-chilli sauce accompanies a spicy chilli-bean fried rice – a delightful summer meal!
